Grace Lutheran Communities and Lily Pad Lab Partner for Summer Programming

Last week, the residents of River Pines and the children of Lily Lab were able to spend their last summer session of the year together. Grace Lutheran Communities and Lily Pad Lab partnered together this summer to bring the Eau Claire community an intergenerational program. During this last session, the seniors and students were able to interact through music, and spent time doing a fun bubble art project together. Intergenerational programs are a great opportunity for the young and old to play, grow and enjoy each other!  Seniors and young children have so much to share with each other! It was wonderful to see the different generations talking, laughing, and interacting more and more as they got to know one another better!  

Thank you to Lily Lab for helping us build relationships that foster a sense of community, an understanding of the past, and a vision for the future. We had a wonderful time spending part of our summer with you!

Grace Lutheran Communities has been helping our friends and neighbors in communities all over the Chippewa Valley since 1960. The non-profit organization specializes in rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, child care, independent living, and adult day services.
