UWEC College of Nursing and Health Sciences Scholarship Event

Bryan Bessa, Human Resources Director, attended the UWEC College of Nursing and Health Sciences Scholarship Event. Read about Bessa's experience below. 

As a UWEC alumni It is always good to get back on campus but last night was even more special to represent Grace and award two scholarships to pursuing nurses in the program. Both of the scholarships recipients are Grace employees and it was an honor to represent Grace and to see these talented professionals be rewarded for their hard work. Amaris Vesely and Anna Backmeier have worked as C.N.A.s at Grace Lutheran Communities and are both on very promising paths to becoming Registered Nurses.  It was a pleasure to spend time with them and to celebrate with them and  some of their other nursing peers who received awards.

I am proud that Grace supports continuing education of our employees and has strong partnerships with our educational institutions.

Grace Lutheran Communities has been helping our friends and neighbors in communities all over the Chippewa Valley since 1960. The non-profit organization specializes in rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, child care, independent living, and adult day services.
