Annual Memorial Service Sunday, June 24th 2018 at the 10:30 service.

Our annual memorial service will be on Sunday, June 24th at 10:30 am. The service will be held in the Capernaum Community Center located at River Pines in Altoona.   

The service includes prayer, reading of Holy Scripture, a poem The Beautiful Bouquet, and responsive reading of We Remember Them, from the Reformed Judaism Prayer Book. The names of those who have passed are read, if a family member is present, they are invited to share a memory and select a flower to create a bouquet. When there is not family present a member of the staff selects a flower for the bouquet. We have a harpist provide music at this time. 

This event is a great time to remember those we have lost and celebrate their lives and the memories we have with them.

Refreshments and fellowship will follow the service.

Grace Lutheran Communities has been helping our friends and neighbors in communities all over the Chippewa Valley since 1960. The non-profit organization specializes in rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, child care, independent living, and adult day services.
