Grace Communities to Participate in Alzheimer Poetry Project

Grace is excited to participate in the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project. This project is beginning its tenth year of research in Wisconsin. Nearly 50,000 people are living with memory loss. This program has reached 5,000 health care workers and 28 states that now use poetry in their facilities. The goal of the projects is, “to facilitate the creativity of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia through the performance and creation of poetry.”We are excited to have the opportunity for a new activity to be incorporated into our communities!
