River Pines Ribbon Cutting a Huge Success

More than 200 people turned out to celebrate the ribbon cutting for River Pines Long-term Concierge Care. The Grace Lutheran Communities building opens to most residents in August, but welcomed people in for tours of the finished community July 12.
The main dining room was filled with people who were excited to see the project, which was ten years in the making, come to fruition. Grace Lutheran Foundation board members joined the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors in cutting the red ribbon.
Board president Mitch Piper, CEO Mike Christensen, Senator Terry Moulton, Representative Kathy Bernier, Altoona Mayor Brenden Pratt and Altoona City Administrator Mike Golat made remarks at the ceremony.
Attendees enjoyed tours of the fireside spa, bariatric room and single resident rooms as well as the family dining areas and living areas at the site. The long-term community will serve the nursing home needs for seniors living in Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls and the entire Chippewa Valley.
Grace Lutheran Communities is proud to be creating dozens of jobs with the opening of the healthcare campus in Altoona.
