The Trishaw's Maiden Voyage at Grace Lutheran Communities, Prairie Pointe and River Pines in Altoona - As seen on WQOW

“Celebrating the Journey” is the theme of this year’s National Nursing Home Week, going on now. Residents at Grace Lutheran Communities - River Pines will take the maiden journey on their new trishaw today in celebration. Grace Lutheran Communities’ interim CEO Randy Bestul will be piloting the modified rickshaw today at 12:30 pm at its campus in Altoona. Residents will be enjoying the sunshine with a ride around the campus and ice cream cones.
The purchase of the trishaw for River Pines, as well as a second one for American Lutheran Communities in Mondovi, was funded through multiple channels, including grants and fundraising. Community members can volunteer to pilot the trishaw at River Pines via the Grace Lutheran Communities Facebook page or by calling the corporate office at 715-832-3003.
